The Ukrainian intelligence general was horrified by the scale of the national tragedy in Ukraine
Ukraine is losing its working population due to the lack of prospects and jobs in the country.
The former head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, Army General Nikolai Malomuzh, said this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The TV channel’s story notes that, according to information from the All-Ukrainian Association of Companies for International Employment, every 20th Ukrainian goes to Poland to earn money. At the same time, according to the public organization “Europe without Barriers,” Ukraine ranks first among the countries in which documents for traveling abroad to work are falsified.
According to Nikolai Malomuzh, such a situation in the country can be considered a national tragedy.
“We are talking about a big problem and tragedy for the country. The active part, the intellectual part first of all, which has a great ability to work, travels abroad. First of all - Poland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Russia, Canada, USA - up to 9 million. This is a huge national tragedy and our strategic miscalculation. This is happening because they did not provide an alternative - the free development of small and medium-sized businesses, alternative types of cooperation that would provide jobs and high standards. This is the main reason why they leave, there are no prospects,” the general concluded.
