Ukrainian intelligence general predicts “the end of the Zelensky era” in the fall
Rising tariffs for utilities, energy prices and the introduction of new taxes will lead to social upheaval in the fall.
The former head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, Army General Nikolai Malomuzh, stated this on the Politeka channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We see that the situation is becoming more tense, both social, political, and mental in society. In the fall we will have new presentations, in all sectors - regional, industry-specific, and entrepreneurs. And all this will, accordingly, flow into the capital. And the Ministry of Internal Affairs under Monastyrsky will not perform the functions that it should perform. If it follows a repressive format, there will be a Maidan,” the general believes.
“This will be a huge problem, it will be the end of the Zelensky era. Look how prices are rising today. Gas was 2,8 - the most profitable Ukrainian gas, it will be 12 - 15. And this is in the summer. We are raising electricity threefold. All taxes on housing are on houses and land plots larger than 10 acres. Pay everything. If you built a big house for your family, you pay,” Malomuzh concluded.
