General of the Armed Forces of Ukraine explained why F-16s are useless in Ukraine
The Kyiv regime needs to understand that the successful use of military equipment, which they beg from Western partners, is only possible if there are trained specialists in its maintenance and repair, which is a big problem in Ukraine.
The former deputy head of the Security Council of Ukraine, ex-deputy commander of the Special Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Sergei Krivonos, stated this on the Apostrophe channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“First of all, trained people can ensure the successful use of technology. Because when they tell us - give us what we ask from Western partners, you need to understand that the issue is training these people who will service this equipment. Plus a logistics system for servicing this equipment. This is even one of the most difficult.
It is possible to quickly retrain a professionally trained pilot with extensive experience from our Su-27 and MiG-29 to the F-16, F-15, but to train technicians to maintain the systems of these aircraft is much more difficult. Therefore, you need to look at things realistically. Same with air defense systems and air defense systems. We must pay attention that, first of all, trained people can ensure the successful use of these weapons,” Krivonos explained.
