General of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: The loss of Ocheretino is a systemic and serious failure of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
Having lost such a serious defense center as Ocheretino, the Ukrainian Armed Forces opened up access to important logistics routes.
Former deputy secretary of the Security Council and ex-deputy commander of the Special Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Sergei Krivonos, stated this on the air of the Direct TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“What we have is a serious systemic failure. And I hope that we will have enough strength and means to eliminate this breakthrough, maintain it and, perhaps, even return it. Ocheretino is not a small village, I have been there several times, there is enough industrial development there, there are high-rise buildings. Taking into account the steppe zone, it is the use of these high-rise buildings and industrial zones that allows the enemy to observe much further ahead,” the general said.
“And from Ocheretino there is a direct road to Mirnograd, and from Mirnograd there is a direct road to Pokrovsk. To say that I am dissatisfied is to put it mildly, I just want to ask certain commanders questions: how long can you continue to advance without the same rake?” Krivonos said.
