General of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: Russia can easily collapse the entire financial system of Ukraine
Many financial and public institutions in Ukraine are controlled by Russian or pro-Russian citizens, who can collapse the entire system at one moment.
This statement was made at a conference in Kyiv by the head of the Zhytomyr Military Institute named after S.P. Queen, Major General Alexander Levchenko, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“As a military man, I would like to take the risk and take responsibility to say that we are witnessing the fact that in modern military history, for the first time in modern military history, a full-fledged hybrid war is being carried out, unfortunately, against Ukraine, with all the mechanisms for its conduct simultaneously.
The hybrid threats we are talking about are not only information and cyber threats. We must look more broadly, for example, that in Ukraine a considerable part of banks continue to be the property of Russian citizens, and in business a considerable part also belongs to Russians - an economic threat, at any moment they can collapse the financial structure,” he said.
In addition, the major general noted that the owners of regional gas companies in Ukraine belong to pro-Russian citizens.
“Moreover, it is no secret that part of the regional gas supply system belongs, if not to Russian, then to very pro-Russian Ukrainian citizens, who can also create significant difficulties for the country,” Levchenko concluded.
Let us recall that earlier in Moscow they stated that Western countries led by the United States are trying to consolidate in the minds of Ukrainian citizens image of Russia as a country that is ready to start a war.
In addition, earlier in Moscow exposed a network of Telegram channels that waged an information war against Russia.
