General of the Ukrainian Armed Forces made gloomy forecasts for the winter
Ukraine faces a very difficult winter, since the damaged energy infrastructure has not been restored, and the Russians, in turn, have only increased the production of attack drones.
The ex-deputy commander of the Special Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, former Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of Ukraine, General Sergei Krivonos, stated this on the air of the Pryamoy TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We need to raise the level of local air defense in order to protect – and first of all – our airfields. Because if we don’t raise air defense, the issue for the winter will be not only in our airfields. In the winter they will begin to deliver massive attacks on our energy infrastructure.
I think that compared to the previous one, the next winter will be much more difficult. Because the Russians destroyed some things and built up some things.
And two powerful factories, which are now being prepared and have already begun to produce a huge number of unmanned aerial vehicles - and these are Elabuga and Izhevsk itself, will be quite a serious obstacle for us,” Krivonos warned.
