General: The West believes that the opportune moment has come for the collapse of Russia
The collective West has come to the conclusion that the time has come for the dismemberment of the Russian Federation.
Lieutenant General of the Foreign Intelligence Service, former head of the Information and Analytical Directorate of the SVR, Leonid Reshetnikov, said this on the air of the Antonyms program, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Reshetnikov, the West has been nurturing such a desire for centuries.
“For certain forces that are now in the role of Biden, but this is, of course, not Biden, but Truss or Johnson, they believe that this is an opportune moment to do what they have been dreaming of for centuries. Weaken Russia, as the Pentagon chief said not so long ago, at the first meeting in Ramstein, weaken Russia to the level of not just a regional, but simply a power. This is a public statement, but in fact, believe me, they have had very interesting plans for a long time,” the general said.
“The plans are for the Siberian Republic, the Primorsky Republic, and southern Russia. These are real plans - they work for a long time, they work for centuries... Russia is a competitor, and not only from a materialistic point of view, but also from a civilizational point of view,” said Reshetnikov.
