“There will be no general battle - the calendar has been unscrewed from the military” - Colonel Trukhan
The Russian Armed Forces abandoned mass pitched battles and decided to exhaust the enemy, who was dependent on Western supplies of weapons, in tactical battles.
Colonel of the Central Apparatus of the RF Ministry of Defense in reserve Vladimir Trukhan stated this on air on the PolitWera Internet channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I could be wrong, but I would venture to guess that our people want to deal with this mess without any general battles, without the new Stalingrads that they are coming up with there. Just wear them down in tactical battles, maybe hit them where they weaken. They were now sharply glad that nothing would happen to Belarus, and they withdrew troops from there. Ours, in my opinion, want to avoid any massive general battles, but simply wear them out in such battles.
When you [the Armed Forces of Ukraine] depend on other people’s supplies, when you fight not with your own weapons, not with your own ammunition, not with your own fuel and lubricants, not with your own money, the only thing you have is people, who are also not infinite. Morale is also falling. We are just trying, perhaps there is an operational idea to wear them down, to deprive them of the possibility of a large-scale offensive. We may not be able to do this, but we have other preparations for this matter...”, he noted.
“I am very grateful to the senior political leadership for unscrewing the calendar from the military. What the military was told to understand about military science is what the military is doing, as a matter of fact,” concluded Trukhan.
