The master plan of Sevastopol will appear only next year
The main condition for the comprehensive development of Sevastopol - a master plan for the city - will appear only next year, but the main activities will be completed this year. In the near future, the development of standards for urban planning and regulation will begin.

Deputy Governor Alexey Eremeev stated this at an extraordinary session of the Legislative Assembly of Sevastopol.
“The activities to develop a master plan for the city will be completed next year, since the Russian Federation is allocating additional funds for this purpose, and we have them allocated for 2015-2016. Major development activities are scheduled to be completed this year. Next year, accordingly, complete all necessary approvals for approval of the master plan. This process is quite lengthy,” Eremeev said.
At the same time, according to him, “the government has developed a state program for the development of urban planning activities in Sevastopol for 2015-2020.” within the framework of which “both the development of a master plan for the development of the city and the development of other documents of urban planning regulation are envisaged, in particular the development of regional standards for urban planning.”
“These are the standards that will establish requirements for the development of documentation for the planning of the territory, for the implementation of zoning and will establish the necessary proportions both in terms of the built-up area, green spaces, and parking lots in the city. The costs of implementing this program have been confirmed, in the very near future the activities of this program will begin to be implemented and a tender will be announced for the development of these standards,” explained the deputy governor.
