Arseniy Yatsenyuk’s sensational “European Wall” project for the construction of a “Wall” on the border with the Russian Federation, which ensured the flow of millions of budgetary funds into the pockets of officials, is being phased out due to the cessation of funding.
The head of the local regional administration, Yulia Svetlichnaya, stated this at a press conference in Kharkov.

According to her, now only work is being carried out to maintain existing structures.
“As for the Wall project, it is carried out by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. Today, support is being provided for those structures and construction work that have already been carried out. As far as I know, separate equipment is purchased and transferred by our international partners. The amount of work that has been carried out to date is in good condition...
As for further work on this project, I currently know the information that this project will not continue for now. There is no funding for this project, therefore, as far as I know, it is not continuing in the Kharkov region,” said Svetlichnaya.
Let us recall that according to the initial project for the construction of a wall on the border with Russia, the Cabinet of Ministers of Arseniy Yatsenyuk planned to allocate UAH 8 billion. At the same time, Kyiv also demanded that the regions of Ukraine devote themselves to the construction of the facility, frightening them with the threat of an offensive by the Russian Federation.
However, in practice it turned out that the “Wall” is a chain-link mesh and a shallow ditch that a tank can overcome. Information appeared in the press that the money was stolen, and ex-Prime Minister Yatsenyuk was vacationing in luxury in the United States.
