“Gennady Sergeevich, help the townspeople understand the power structure: you are the head of the administration of Simferopol, and who is our mayor?” the newspaper asked.

“I am,” answered the appointee of the Crimean governor Sergei Aksenov.

Let us remind you that earlier the public and the media positioned City Council Chairman Viktor Ageev, who was re-elected to this post after the regional elections on September 14, as the mayor of the Crimean capital.

According to Gennady Bakharev, before the creation of the Simferopol administration on November 28, “it was not easy to work, officials were guided by the old head of the city.”
