She noted that Yushchenko’s suspicion was sent back on May 25. We are talking about criminal proceedings dated December 25, 2015.

“During this investigation, a written notice of suspicion was drawn up, which indicated that Yushchenko, acting in a preliminary conspiracy with a group of people through abuse of his official position, took possession of state property - a complex of buildings and structures in the Mezhgorye tract and a house in the village of Novye Petrivtsi, land plots on which it is located. And all this costs a total of 540 million hryvnia. All this is qualified under Part 5 of Article 191 of the Criminal Code,” Sargan said.

When asked to voice some details about the case, the Prosecutor General’s press secretary said:

“Gorbatyuk (Head of the Special Investigations Department of the Prosecutor General’s Office Sergei Gorbatyuk - ed.) has the details, who sent this suspicion in writing.”

Earlier, people's deputy Sergei Leshchenko reported in his telegram channel that the Prosecutor General's Office had charged ex-President Viktor Yushchenko with embezzlement of property in the case of the Mezhygorye residence, which was removed from state ownership in 2007 and then transferred to a private company under arrangement of the residence for Viktor Yanukovych.
