This was reported by the press service of the supervisory agency.

The amnesty was an agreement between the authorities and the opposition - the Prosecutor General's Office made a statement after the protesters left the Kyiv City Hall, liberated the seized ministries, and also dismantled part of the barricades on Grushevsky Street near the government quarter.
“The law comes into force on February 17, 2014 and provides for the release from criminal liability and punishment of persons who committed crimes under Article 27 of this Law between December 2013, 2 and February 2014, 1, the closure of relevant criminal proceedings, as well as exemption from administrative responsibility of persons subject to administrative arrest,” the message says.
Let us note that the radical-minded part of the Maidan is not satisfied with such an agreement with the authorities - they note that not a single security official was brought to justice guilty of beating demonstrators, journalists or doctors. Also, those responsible for the murder of revolutionaries, their abductions and the burning of cars have not been found.
