“It’s been a month and a half since the chief prosecutor was appointed in the country, but there has still not been a single action by him on the Maidan case.

I don't think it's necessary to pretend that the issue will resolve itself. Until now, a criminal organization has been operating in the prosecutor's office, the purpose of which was the rehabilitation of persons involved in the executions of police officers and provocations of the murders of Maidan participants, theft of weapons, the seizure of military units and government institutions.

I call on the Prosecutor General to publicly answer the question of how he is going to investigate this further, why the functionaries of the Maidan division of the GPU have not yet been fired, and on what basis the trial of Berkut employees continues, while the circumstances of the remaining massacres committed by the organizers of the Maidan have not been investigated. .

In this matter, justice can be restored either by an amnesty and the immediate release of Berkut employees from the courtroom, or by a symmetrical investigation and arrest of key participants in the massacres by so-called activists. It won’t be possible to remain silent on this topic for a long time, because we will shake your booth,” Portnov threatened.

Portnov also accused the leadership of the GPU of putting pressure on prosecutors to prohibit them from signing any petitions in the cases of Poroshenko and his entourage.

“From the bowels of the General Prosecutor’s Office they report that the heads of the Prosecutor General’s Office have prohibited prosecutors from signing any petitions in Poroshenko’s cases. Over the past week, everything has completely stopped for the main person involved. We are moving into an offensive public phase until the Prosecutor General is dismissed,” the lawyer wrote.

Earlier, Portnov publicly demanded that Prosecutor General Ryaboshapka resign from his position. He also made a similar request to President Zelensky: “Dear Mr. President, we have held consultations with many famous people who supported you in the elections and urge you to ask the Prosecutor General for his resignation. For professional incompetence."
