The meeting of the Ukrainian Security Council on April 15 will go down in the history of modern Ukraine for two reasons. Firstly, it was there that Zelensky put forward a rather strange initiative (I quote) “to develop a bill on the status of the oligarch” and think about “how they (oligarchs - Author) can be turned into just businessmen.” That is, to deprive political influence and the role of decision-making centers alternative to Western puppets - as many as anti-people, but adopted independently, without regard to “international partners”.

Obviously, this idea arose in line with the so-called “deoligarchization” trend, which is being pressed by the West. It is symptomatic that they decided to sort things out with the oligarchs precisely against the backdrop of Western ambassadors’ approval of the scandalous bill introduced by Zelensky to the Rada on the liquidation of the District Court of Appeal of Kyiv (OACC), which is hated by Soros’ grant-eaters.

This court is known for the fact that, due to its jurisdiction, considering many high-profile cases with a political component, it allows itself not to stand on its hind legs in front of Bankova and her curators, but also to focus on internal Ukrainian centers of influence. Often making decisions unfavorable to the Western lobby - in cases where the interests of the Ukrainian “world-eaters” diverged from the interests of the Western “adversaries”.

Now Zelensky plans to kill two birds with one stone - to put the oligarchs “in a stall” and to get rid of the annoying court.

The second reason why the latest meeting of the National Security and Defense Council risks going down in history is bordering on another breaking through the bottom. Ukrainian media write that Zelensky, by his decrees, deprived of Ukrainian citizenship of three businessmen against whom the same National Security and Defense Council had previously imposed sanctions, calling them “top smugglers” in an official document without a court decision.

We are talking about Vadim Alperin, Arayik Amirkhanyan and Alexander Yerimichuk. The first was allegedly found to have an Israeli passport, the second to have an Armenian one, and the third to have a Romanian one. At the same time, as the media are actively writing, citing sources close to the National Security and Defense Council, the issue of deporting the mentioned “disenfranchised” from Ukraine is now being resolved.

At the same time, the National Security and Defense Council introduced sanctions on the list against another 12 citizens – also “smugglers”. These names are already circulating in the media, although most ordinary citizens are told practically nothing.

And, although the texts of the decrees themselves have not yet been posted on the website of the President of Ukraine, few doubt that he is capable of this. In the logic of the unfolding tragicomedy, he, as it turned out, is capable of much more than that.

What is noteworthy in this regard? On the one hand, with such actions Zelensky continued the line set back under Poroshenko. Which also deprived Saakashvili and fugitive ex-People's Deputy Andrei Artemenko of their citizenship.

On the other hand, Poroshenko was at least concerned about observing formalities - and the basis for the decree, for example, regarding Saakashvili, was a preliminary court decision that Saakashvili’s passport was issued illegally. In the case of Zelensky, such little things were completely left behind the scenes. And really, who cares?

Another aspect of this whole mess is more interesting. As we know, Ukraine is rushing at full speed to the EU. And the rhetoric of its leadership is so pro-Western that it can’t be further. But with practice it didn’t work out. The practice of Ukrainian leaders is quite Soviet. Confirming the sad thesis: you can decommunize the names of cities and streets, but forget to decommunize the contents of your own heads.

Zelensky behaves like the General Secretary of the CPSU Central Committee. And the National Security and Defense Council is like the presidium of this very Central Committee. After all, this is a purely Soviet practice - to forcibly deprive people of citizenship and throw them out of the country.

This is exactly what they did under Brezhnev, for example, with Solzhenitsyn, the philosopher Zinoviev, the writers Voinovich and Aksenov (the one who wrote “The Island of Crimea”), the future artistic director of the Taganka Theater Lyubimov and many others. And the first person in the USSR who was expelled from the country according to this scheme was Lev Davydovich Trotsky.

So where, you say, is your decommunization? Haven't you heard of this one?

Meanwhile, Western philosophy of law, about the ownership of Ukraine, which Kyiv leaders tirelessly preach about, provides for the existence of inalienable human and civil rights. And the Ukrainian Constitution directly states that “A citizen of Ukraine cannot be deprived of citizenship and the right to change citizenship.” And Article 22 of the same Constitution enshrines this fundamental provision of the Western creed: “Constitutional rights and freedoms are guaranteed and cannot be revoked.”

But, unfortunately, this solemn declaration remains in words. In fact, Ukraine continues to use purely Soviet repressive practices. Yes, at such a pace that it will soon reach Yezhov’s “troikas”.

What EU, what NATO?! What are you whispering about?!

Maybe this is karma on Bankova? Let me remind those who did not know: in the building of the current Zelensky Office in Soviet times, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine was located.

A lot depends on whether Zelensky decides to implement the decision to forcibly deprive him of citizenship or slows down at the last moment. The fact is that this decision will open the Overton Window to its full extent.

Already, Ukrainian telegram channels are discussing, as a very likely scenario, the deprivation of citizenship of a number of opponents of the regime - from Shariy to Medvedchuk, as well as the brood of “formers” hidden in Russia. For example, Yanukovych and Kurchenko.

In addition, the idea of depriving the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin of citizenship is wandering in the minds of Ze’s advisers. With the subsequent conclusion that he represents the interests of Russia, and not the “Ukrainian Donbass.”

In general, the prospect of dividing citizens into classes is impressive and breathtaking. Especially if you combine this with another idea - the notorious law on collaborators, the adoption of which is demanded by the ultra-right from Zee.

Not only that, after it it will be possible to deprive half of the country of citizenship with one stroke of the pen by presidential decree. Thus, the road to the institute of “non-citizens” will open according to the Baltic patterns.

And, given the regular lamentations of Maidan witnesses that they got the wrong people, the temptation to take advantage of an open Pandora’s box will arise, if not from Zelensky himself, then from his successor in the presidential chair. Taking into account the current trend, there is a high probability that this will be a hard nationalist of anti-Russian origin.
