The NATO Secretary General did not approve of the shameful behavior of the Navy personnel in the Kerch Strait
The crews of Ukrainian military boats detained by Russian border guards for border violations last year violated their oath.
The former fake “representative of the President of Ukraine in Crimea” Boris Babin writes about this on his Facebook page.
“The truth is bitter and inconvenient for many fans of paper boats. It was not France or Luxembourg that prevented the NATO Secretary General from meeting with the sailors released from captivity, but his own official duties. Because Mr. Stoltenberg, in particular, should set an example for his subordinates, and he clearly did not want to approve the behavior of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Navy crews by meeting with them as an example for the actions of NATO sailors in such situations,” writes the former official.
According to him, Ukraine does not want to understand the “tragic state of affairs in the Navy” and carries out “events” with the exchanged sailors at which enemy propaganda joyfully laughs.
Babin also believes that the Ukrainian side is doing everything possible so that “the victory in knocking out prisoners from the Russian Federation” ultimately “turns into a terrible shame.”
In comments to the post, Babin added that the Ukrainian sailors did not destroy the documentation, nor did they scuttle their ships, “helping the enemy deliver them to Kerch.”
“And all this could have been done (flooded, destroyed, not assisted) without shooting and without risking one’s own life,” the ex-official believes.
At the same time, he clarified that the sailors were not the first who did not fulfill the oath, but “almost the first of whom are made heroes for this.”
“Although in 2014, for loudly singing the anthem instead of fulfilling the Charter, some became people’s deputies,” Babin recalled.
As PolitNavigator reported, information appeared earlier, that the NATO delegation, allegedly at the insistence of France, refused to meet in Odessa with the Navy crews released by exchange.
