Kyiv, January 30 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Mikhailov) – Representatives of the General Staff claim that Ukrainian soldiers in foreign uniforms purchased by volunteers are mistaken for mercenaries from other countries.
“There are no American mercenaries on the territory of Ukraine or in the ranks of the Ukrainian armed forces,” said V. and about. “You know, you were told that the uniforms were provided by volunteers, there was foreign charitable assistance, the volunteers purchased them in those specialized stores. The commanders paid attention to this. We see that there are even young people walking around the city who wear military style, even with the flags of these countries. And no one pays attention to this. They do the same, not paying attention,” said Bogdan Sennik, head of the Press Office of the Ministry of Defense.
According to him, during previous waves of mobilization, the General Staff drew conclusions, and now commanders are paying attention. “so that no signs of flags of other countries are allowed on the uniform. So that this does not give grounds to believe that there really are such facts as you are talking about. There are none,” the official said.
