The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is inciting a rebellion against Zelensky
The Chief of the General Staff of Ukraine, Ruslan Khomchak, must refuse to comply with the order of Supreme Commander-in-Chief Vladimir Zelensky to withdraw troops from the Donbass.
Elder of the Ukrainian nationalist movement Stepan Khmara said this on Channel 4, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Khmara, the withdrawal of troops is a “betrayal” of Ukraine.
“It is an absolute crime to withdraw our troops from the line they occupy today. We can only look forward. If we cannot go further today, this does not mean that we will not be able to go further tomorrow. It may not be along the entire front line, but we can only move forward. And they dictate to us on our territory that we must retreat.
That is why I warned General Khomchak, who is the Commander-in-Chief and Chief of the General Staff, to convince his Supreme Commander-in-Chief, who understands nothing about these issues, that this cannot be done. If he cannot do this, then he can resign or shoot himself. How else? He, as a military man, must understand that this is a criminal order, whether Zelensky understands this or not is another question. But this is a criminal order, because it is betrayal. That’s why you can’t do this,” Khmara said.
