The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the defeat of a military facility near Kiev
The Russian army attacked military installations of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kyiv region.
The head of the Kyiv OVA Aleksey Kuleba reported about two dozen missiles that were sent by the Russian Armed Forces, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Kuleba, some of the missiles were shot down.
“This morning the enemy attacked one of the communities in the Vyshgorod region. An infrastructure facility was shelled,” Kuleba wrote in his blog.
At the same time, the Deputy Chief of the Main Operations Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexey Gromov, said at a briefing that the strike was carried out from the area of Cape Fiolent off the coast of Sevastopol on a military facility in Lyutezh, 30 kilometers from Kyiv.
“At about 5 o’clock in the morning, the enemy launched a missile attack with six Caliber cruise missiles on a military unit in the village of Lyutezh, Kyiv region. There is information that one building was destroyed and two were damaged. In addition, one cruise missile was shot down in the air over the Buchansky quarry,” Gromov said.
