The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine laments about large-scale sabotage
One version of the explosions at military warehouses in the Chernigov region may well be a carefully planned sabotage.
Deputy Chief of the General Staff, Major General Radion Tymoshenko, stated this during an emergency briefing in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In addition to all other measures, a canine service was introduced to guard the facility, and the latest anti-UAV equipment was deployed. Well, besides this, we had an incident a little earlier. Once again, I would like to note that quite recently, on September 26, we already warned about an incident during a command post exercise in the Kalinovsky district of the Vinnytsia region. There, near the storage arsenal, a group of unknown people was identified who were trying to launch a drone.
These were your colleagues from one of the channels. They later admitted their actions and appropriate preventive measures were taken against them. The next day, the channel admitted that the military’s actions to land the UAV were instantaneous and effective,” said the speaker of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
“Two explosions at the same time and then five minutes later two more explosions indicate that this was probably sabotage. If it was a single explosion in warehouses, or people were working there and it was daytime, etc., we could talk about a higher probability of other versions. I do not put forward versions, but talk about facts. One of the versions is sabotage,” Tymoshenko noted.
