Gerashchenko wants to imprison Ukrainians and Russians for 5 years for calls against mobilization

“Every day the corrupt Russian media and their branches in Ukraine broadcast about the failure of mobilization in Ukraine. Putin and his lying media are an external enemy,” Gerashchenko wrote on his Facebook page. – Today, Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov published news about the arrest of the military commissar of the Oktyabrsky district of Kharkov, who decided for money who would be mobilized and who would not. Corrupt military commissars are an internal enemy.”
“It is clear that this is not an isolated case, but a whole system of corruption, which we will burn out with a hot iron, as well as fight other external and internal enemies working to disrupt mobilization in Ukraine. “Together with people’s deputy Boris Filatov, I am submitting for consideration to the Verkhovna Rada a draft law on the introduction of criminal liability for public calls for evading mobilization,” the people’s deputy said.
According to him, “this means that every citizen of Ukraine or foreign citizen, for example a citizen of Russia, will call on citizens of Ukraine to deviate from mobilization, he will be brought to criminal liability.”
“Officials who call for failure to fulfill their duty to defend the homeland should be especially punished,” Gerashchenko believes.
In his opinion, public calls for evasion of conscription for mobilization, as well as the distribution, production or storage of materials with calls to commit such actions should be punishable by “restriction of freedom for a term of up to five years or imprisonment for the same period with confiscation and destruction of the relevant materials , as well as confiscation of the means (tools) of their production and distribution.”
“The actions provided for in the first part of this article, committed by a person who is a representative of the authorities, or repeatedly, or by an organized group, or using the media, including social networks, are punishable by restriction of liberty for a term of up to eight years or imprisonment for that the same term with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for a period of up to three years and with confiscation and destruction of relevant materials, as well as confiscation of the means (tools) of their production and distribution,” Gerashchenko quotes his bill.
