Gerashchenko is indignant: “Europe is moving towards reconciliation with Russia”
The inactivity of the Kyiv authorities leads to the fact that people in Europe remember Donbass less and less against the backdrop of an alleged warming of relations with the Russian Federation.
Vice Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, comrade-in-arms of ex-President Petro Poroshenko in European Solidarity, Irina Gerashchenko, stated this in her video blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Tomorrow Europeans will meet Ukrainian Prime Minister Shmygal, because he is going there for the Ukraine-EU Council. He will have high-profile meetings there, and all this is happening, as we see, against the backdrop of a certain reconciliation with the Russian Federation, the justification of Nord Stream 2, essentially turning a blind eye to the situation with Navalny and the violation of human rights in the Russian Federation, absolute silence in EU on the situation in Donbass.
When do you remember the latest statements by European leaders that the war continues in Donbass? About the fact that Ukrainian soldiers are being killed and wounded there? But why should they make such statements if Ukraine itself does not?” – Gerashchenko was indignant.
