Gerashchenko: “The matchmakers were the first sign. It's time for Russia 24
The National Council for Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine, as well as law enforcement agencies, must respond to the plans of the NewsOne and Rossiya 24 TV channels to hold a teleconference between the countries.
Former journalist, Vice Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Irina Gerashchenko stated this in her blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The parliamentarian called the Russian TV channel an “information weapon” and a “mouthpiece of hatred,” and also called for a response to the event of Ukrainian radicals.
“Russia 24” is a propaganda mouthpiece banned in Ukraine. This is not television. A tool of information weapons against Ukraine in the Kremlin’s hybrid war. Attempts to hold a teleconference with this mouthpiece of hatred towards Ukraine are a challenge that must be immediately responded to by the National Council (Does it still exist? Do people who were once the authorities of the profession still work there?), the SBU, the Ministry of Information, the Government and the President’s Office.
