“I gave an order. The bill is up for consideration. When the committee heads are ready, we will consider them. Let's not play with toys. There is no need to scare anyone. We need to work for the country. Save populism,” warned Verkhovna Rada Speaker Alexander Turchynov, opening the evening session.
However, Herman took the floor and reminded that people standing on the street were promised to consider this issue on Tuesday.
“Don’t make us block the podium so you can keep your word,” Herman said.
“Let's not play with toys that are very unsafe. First of all, for you,” Turchynov addressed her, noting that the issue of regulating the return of foreign currency loans will be considered.
“We have included four to five projects on the agenda. They were instructed to urgently review them by relevant committees. As soon as they consider it, I will immediately put it to a vote,” the speaker assured.
As Navigator reported, protests are constantly taking place near the Verkhovna Rada: protesters demand the adoption of a law that would allow foreign currency loans in hryvnia to be repaid at the exchange rate at the time the loan agreement was concluded.
