“Rinat Akhmetov remained in PR and now helps us a lot in Donbass. He took upon himself the courage to go against separatism, for the unity of Ukraine,” she said on ICTV channel.

German believes that Akhmetov now has “a chance to become a first-rank politician in Ukraine.”

However, her words were questioned by political scientist Konstantin Matvienko, who was present in the studio. “He no longer has influence either in Mariupol or Donetsk,” the expert said about Akhmetov.

German continued to insist that “Rinat Leonidovich can save Donbass.”

“We need to ensure that Donbass votes in parliamentary elections so that the elections have greater legitimacy. Only a powerful figure can do this, if you see someone else, suggest,” she replied to Matvienko.
