“We heard that Medvedchuk was allowed to participate in negotiations regarding the situation in eastern Ukraine with the knowledge of Mrs. Merkel. The question arises, is this true at all, and, if so, why is this happening?! We don't understand this. Medvedchuk is an agent of the Kremlin, he is Putin’s godfather, he is known for his anti-European worldview, he is a categorical opponent of the European direction of Ukraine’s development. Then the question arises, why is Germany actually lobbying for the interests of this Kremlin henchman and proposing his candidacy for negotiations?!” said a representative of the VO “Svoboda” at a rally near the German Embassy.
