Germany is not against Russian intervention in the Belarusian crisis
Russia would like to have one or more loyal parties in the future Belarusian parliament, as well as the opportunity to enter the Belarusian economy.
Belarusian political scientist Igor Tyshkevich, who fled to Ukraine, stated this in his video blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Russian Federation sees the concept of what it wants to get from Belarus. This is a political reform with a strengthening of the role of parties and the emergence of pro-Russian projects and entry into the Belarusian economy. At this stage, this is enough for Russia,” Tyshkevich said.
He believes that this plan will not cause resistance in Europe.
“The same German politicians fully agree that Russia should resolve the events in Belarus, as it sees fit. Well, with the preservation of the external democratic screen,” Tyshkevich concluded.
