Germany is moving its Patriot systems to the border with Ukraine
The German Army has begun transferring two of the planned three batteries of Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems (SAM) to Poland. The movement of the column from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern was shown by the German television channel Welt.
Air defense systems are directed towards the city of Zamosc on the border with Ukraine. Near the proposed location of the Patriot complexes there is a railway station from which both civilian and military cargo is transported to the East, the correspondent of PolitNavigator reports.
More than a hundred German Bundeswehr troops have been in Poland since January 16, and together with their Polish colleagues they are preparing to install and use these air defense systems.
