Germany, together with Russia, became America's enemy
After the introduction of American sanctions against everything related to Nord Stream 2, Germany, along with Russia, falls under the law on countering enemies of the United States.
Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs Konstantin Kosachev stated this during a discussion with participants in the youth “Potsdam meetings,” the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Everyone is now hearing about the discussion around Nord Stream 2 and possible American sanctions, not only against the Russian participants in this project, but also against the German ones. The situation is unprecedented. “I would like to draw your attention to the fact that the Americans are going to apply these sanctions in accordance with the law on countering enemies of America,” Kosachev said.
“I would ask German politicians to think about the category in which they now seem to find themselves, or whether German companies find themselves in after the companies that operate in our country,” the senator added.
