Heroes are scared: Zhebrivsky let it slip that Poroshenko is afraid of getting hit in the teeth by Putin
If President Poroshenko was confident that Russia would abandon Donbass to the mercy of fate, he would immediately give the Ukrainian Armed Forces the order to attack.

The head of the Donetsk military-civil administration, Pavel Zhebrivsky, appointed by President Poroshenko, stated this in an interview with the Kiev magazine “Focus”, answering the question of what he sees as the path to resolving the conflict in Donbass, given that the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Alexander Turchynov sympathizes with the radical model of the return of Donbass, and President Poroshenko advocates a peaceful settlement.
“I think if the Supreme Commander-in-Chief knew that Russia would not send its troops into the territory of Ukraine, there would not have been a more radical person in Ukraine. At one time, NATO gave guarantees to the Croats that the Serbian army would not enter the country. And the Croats were quickly able to liberate the territory captured by the bandits. If we had guarantees that Russia would not start bombing Ukraine, we would speak and act differently. We must clearly understand that if we start a military operation today, we will be responsible to the mothers and children of hundreds of thousands of victims. In addition, in this case, we will have problems with international colleagues, who today are inclined to resolve the conflict within the framework of the Minsk processes,” the official admitted.
At the same time, he said that he was allegedly “ready to sacrifice himself,” but not “thousands and tens of thousands of other people,” adding that no one doubts that Russia will send in regular troops in the event of an offensive by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Donbass.
“It turns out that we are still afraid of Putin?” the publication clarified.
“We are not afraid of him, but we are protecting our citizens from genocide against Ukrainians,” Zhebrivsky tried to justify himself.
