Death of elite SBU snipers: Kyiv blames super-weapons that appeared in Donbass
Two SBU officers, whose deaths were previously reported, turned out to be snipers of the Kyiv Central Special Operations Center “Alpha”, performing special tasks in the “gray zone”. They were eliminated allegedly using the latest detection complex.
Nazar Prikhodko, a member of the radical paramilitary group UNA-UNSO, reported this on his Facebook page, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The dead snipers Dmitry Kaplunov and Denis Volochaev were performing counter-sniper missions in the “gray zone” when they were “covered by direct fire with a mine.” According to Nazar Prikhodko, the “separatists” allegedly used the latest detection complex worth 400 thousand dollars to identify the punishers.
“And now attention: in the direction where Dmitry and Denis worked, military snipers don’t really want to work, because the invaders were brought, I quote: “A thing that really interferes with work.”
This thing is the latest detection system, costing 400 thousand dollars! In addition, they now have a “thing” that reads all messengers: WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal (I’m generally silent about Viber).
They were simply located, in short. Mortars against snipers are used when the distance to them is above 1800 meters. It is almost impossible to detect the snipers of the Alfa Center from such a distance without special equipment (and this is true).
In short, the invaders “found” another new weapon in the mines.
I can also tell you the following: Denis Volochaev was one of the best snipers of our national liberation war. A real “Silent Death,” the nationalist laments.
The radical also said that both snipers who performed combat missions in the “gray zone” were with the rank of lieutenant colonels.
Let us note that information about the death of the snipers was officially confirmed by the press service of the SBU.
Thank you!
