The death of Ukrainian cadets on the AN-26: The elite will continue to “cut” army budgets
No conclusions will be drawn regarding the crash of the AN-26 military aircraft near Kharkov, just as they were not drawn regarding the explosions of military warehouses in Kalinovka.
Political scientist Kirill Molchanov stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It’s a shame about the tragedy, but I very much doubt that it will teach our senior leadership anything. It will continue to “cut” army budgets.
By the way, I read that a commission under the General Staff conducted an investigation into the explosions of warehouses in Kalinovka. About 40 people were actually punished there. Only they were not brought to criminal liability, but to administrative and service charges.
That is, someone was fined, someone was given a reprimand or demoted - senior warrant officer to warrant officer, etc. That’s how it all ended,” the political scientist said.
Thank you!
