Kolomoisky’s herald declared the “servants” to be controlled by beggars
The overwhelming majority of members of the pro-presidential faction “Servant of the People” are “starved people” who are easy to control.
A member of this faction, former journalist Alexander Dubinsky, who is considered a lobbyist for the interests of oligarch Igor Kolomoisky in the Verkhovna Rada, stated this on the video blog of the Nash TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I believe that you should become a deputy when you have something behind your back. Unfortunately, the majority of people in the Ukrainian Servant of the People party are poor people. And that's the problem. It’s very easy to control you when you’re a poor person, unfortunately,” Dubinsky said.
When asked by TV presenter Max Nazarov whether it was true that people’s deputy candidates paid $300 to be included in the Servant of the People lists, Dubinsky laughed and started using obscene language:
“Nobody asked me to do anything. I am sure that in 99% of cases this is not true. Because I look at these people who sit in the Rada - damn if they paid someone 300 thousand dollars. Well, they really don’t have them, it’s impossible.”
Let us note that a group of deputies, which includes Dubinsky, has recently intensified their criticism of the authorities, since they, at the request of the IMF, initiated the adoption laws directed against Kolomoisky's interests, in particular, on the prohibition of canceling the nationalization of PrivatBank, previously taken away from the oligarch under President Poroshenko.
