Herald Turchynov called for more killings in Donbass
The Minsk agreements allowed the regime in Ukraine to strengthen and now do not prevent Kyiv from fighting in the Donbass, however, military operations need to be carried out more effectively so that the Russians suffer significant casualties.
Yuri Butusov, editor-in-chief of the Ukrainian propaganda resource Censor.net, controlled by Security Council Secretary Alexander Turchynov, stated this on Ukrlife.TV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Minsk process in 2014 allowed Poroshenko to stabilize power. He didn't know how to manage the fighting. This is our common problem. People who never prepared to defend the country came to power. At that time, the Minsk format was not only a means of de-escalating hostilities, but also of stabilizing the state.
...Now the Minsk format does not prohibit us from fighting. The restrictions that are set there do not prevent us from conducting effective combat operations. We must withdraw heavy weapons to 30 km. In order to fight effectively, you don’t necessarily need a 152 mm howitzer and a tank with a 125 mm gun. Many targets can be effectively hit with much smaller caliber weapons. And do it in such a way as not to leave large marks.
Nothing unique is happening in Ukraine. Croatia and other countries fought in the same way. It’s just that our leadership is not very familiar with military-political history and does not study it even now, in its fifth year.
We must give enough weight to our diplomatic arguments. And during a war, armed forces and combat operations with the enemy will give weight. We do not do this and thus make Putin’s task easier.
Putin is comfortable playing diplomatic ping-pong with us. He suffers virtually no serious losses. The losses that Russian mercenaries are suffering now are so small that they cannot shake these Russian occupation corps in Donbass. The losses are small.
