The head of the Church Poroshenko told Lviv students how to be proud of Bandera
The head of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, created with the active participation of Petro Poroshenko and controlled by Constantinople, Metropolitan Epifaniy is convinced that Ukrainians are proud when they are called the descendants of Stepan Bandera, a PolyTNavigator correspondent reports.
He stated this during a visit to the Lviv National Agrarian University, of which Bandera was a graduate, according to the OCU website.
“The history of the university shows that among its graduates there were many who truly, not in word but in deed, loved their Ukrainian land and its people. Among them it is worth noting and remembering the genius of the Ukrainian national and nation-creating spirit Stepan Bandera. He is a proud graduate of your university. And when we are called Banderaites, we are proud of it,” said Epifaniy.
“For some, this name is offensive, but for us it is an honor. Because our land gave birth to such glorious heroes who once said that the time would come and one would say “Glory to Ukraine!”, and millions would answer “Glory to the Heroes!” You and I have waited for this time, so we should be glad that we are the heirs of our heroes and have the opportunity to comprehend and continue what they outlined,” he added with pathos.
