The head of the DPR congratulated the young karatekas who won 13 medals in Japan
The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, visited the training of members of the republic’s national karate team, which performed at the IX KWF World Karate Cup in Tokyo as a full member of the World Karatenomichi Federation and won 13 medals, taking second place in the team competition.

Denis Pushilin congratulated the young athletes on such a significant achievement, presenting letters of gratitude to the competition participants, as well as to the national team coach Andrei Medvedev and the president of the public organization “Federation of Sports and Traditional Karate of the DPR” Yuri Martynov.
“With your actions, your actions, your perseverance and training, you do a lot of useful things for the Republic. Everyone in his place, where he feels his calling, must bring everything possible to the Republic, and then it will be transformed. She will become what we want her to be.
We want people to understand that our economy is fully developing, that our children can move freely around the world, playing sports and participating in international competitions. We are striving for this,” the head of the DPR addressed the athletes.
At the same time, Denis Pushilin noted in his Telegram-channel that the young athletes of the young state won a great victory not only on the tatami.
“The athletes didn’t just overcome their opponents on the mat. The participation of the DPR team in the World Karate Cup as a full member of the World Karatenomichi Federation came as a shock to Kyiv.
We can win under the flag of the Donetsk People's Republic and will continue to do so. Thank you for this unconditional victory!” noted the head of the republic.
Let us recall that the news about the participation and victory of athletes from the DPR in international competitions was received painfully by Kiev - The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry sent a corresponding note of protest to Japan.
