The head of the DPR awarded Gorlovka the title “City of Military Glory”
Today, at the celebration of the 238th anniversary of the city, the head of the DPR, Alexander Zakharchenko, awarded Gorlovka the honorary title “City of Military Glory,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Gorlovka is one of the front-line cities of the DPR. Some of its suburbs (Zaitsevo) have been shelled almost daily since the spring of 2014. At the same time, according to the acting Mayor of the city Ivan Prikhodko, more than 80% of the city’s defenders holding the front line are local residents.

Also, the mayor of Gorlovka, Ivan Prikhodko, was awarded the medal “For Labor Valor,” and two Gorlovka residents were awarded the title “Honorary Citizen of the City.”
