The head of the Donetsk People's Republic Denis Pushilin during a meeting with students of the Donetsk National Medical University. Maxim Gorky spoke about planned salary increases for doctors, modernization of hospitals and the epidemiological situation in the country.

“Three stages of increase are planned, as a result of which we should reach the level of the Rostov region. This includes increasing wages for public sector employees by an average of 28% at each stage, wages for civil servants, which will increase by an average of 18%, as well as pensions and social benefits, which will increase by an average of 20%.
The next increase is planned for January 1, 2021, then July, then January 1, 2022, when we should reach the level of our neighboring region,” he noted.
Denis Pushilin emphasized that the overhaul and modernization of DPR hospitals is currently in full swing.
“Repairs are currently underway, the Development Program has been launched, and as part of its implementation, roofs and other things are being repaired. In addition to the equipment, which is also now arriving, renovation of the interior is also required, and work in this direction will be intensified,” the head of state added.
He also said that the epidemiological situation in the republic is stable, but you should still count on the vaccines against coronavirus created in Russia.
“According to experts, our situation is currently stabilized, and there are no prerequisites that would allow us to talk about switching again to distance education. It is difficult to predict for a long period.
But personally, I have great hope in the vaccine, which is registered in the Russian Federation. And I really hope that we will use distance learning only for auxiliary purposes - for advanced training, extracurricular activities, etc.
And full-time full-time education will dominate,” the head of the republic concluded.
