The head of the DPR spoke about the easing of border controls with Russia
The DPR government is working on mechanisms for opening the border with the Russian Federation after restrictive measures in connection with the coronavirus pandemic.
The head of the republic, Denis Pushilin, stated this in an interview with Ukrainian blogger Anatoly Shariy, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“As for the border with Russia, we are now exploring options for easing controls. People will be able to cross the border under certain conditions. For example, passing tests in one direction and the other. This is an instant test and will not take much time. Of course, recommendations not to travel just to travel remain,” Pushilin said.
At the same time, he added that people still cross the border with the Russian Federation in a certain order.
“Of course, if there is a need, people leave. They also traveled during this period of time. An operational headquarters was created that really quickly solved these problems and continues to do so. Each case is considered individually and personally. If people have a specific reasoned reason, they leave,” said the head of the DPR.
