Head of the DPR: We can’t take risks. Evacuation of civilians and mobilization will continue
After Russia recognizes the independence of the Donbass republics, anything is possible from the Ukrainian side.
The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Now, when Kyiv, on the one hand, is hysterical and does not understand what to do, what steps to take next, on the other hand, we do not see any prerequisites for the situation on the contact line to change. The number of personnel and equipment is not decreasing, provocative shelling and provocative actions by the armed formations of Ukraine continue,” the leader of the republic noted.
“Therefore, now recognition is very important, the agreement is very important, ensuring security is very important, but there is also a current task that no one takes away from us, in terms of the fact that we need to evacuate as much of the civilian population as possible - women, old people, children, so as not to risk a single life under any circumstances.
And of course, we have an important moment now - this is mobilization, because Kiev can now take any path, but according to a different scenario, including that delayed escalation, that is, literally at any moment give the order to conduct full-scale military operations,” Pushilin concluded.
