The head of the DPR established payments to veterans for the anniversary of the Victory
The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, signed a decree “On providing certain categories of war veterans with one-time cash assistance in 2020 in connection with the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.”

This decree establishes that “in 2020, one-time cash assistance will be provided to combatants and disabled people of the Great Patriotic War from June 22, 1941 to May 09, 1945, as well as the war with Japan from August 09, 1945 to September 03, 1945, which took part in hostilities or served in military units, units, headquarters and institutions that were part of the active army, as well as persons awarded the medal “For the Defense of Leningrad” or “For the Defense of Sevastopol” or the badge “Resident of besieged Leningrad”, in in the amount of 75 (Seventy-five thousand) rubles.”
In addition, by a separate decree, the head of the DPR approved the list of persons and the procedure for paying one-time cash assistance.
“In 2020, the Donetsk People’s Republic celebrates a significant date - the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory. To support our veterans, a decision was made to provide one-time cash assistance. I signed the corresponding Decrees No. 89 and No. 90 today.
Our veterans are the pride of the country and role models. We remember every hero and will not tire of thanking them for their victory. Therefore, one-time cash assistance in the amount of 75 thousand rubles will be received by combatants and disabled people of the Great Patriotic War and the war with Japan, as well as persons awarded the medal “For the Defense of Leningrad” or “For the Defense of Sevastopol” or the badge “Resident of besieged Leningrad,” wrote Pushilin on his Telegram channel.
According to him, the list of persons who are entitled to receive cash assistance for Victory Day has already been approved.
“Unfortunately, there are fewer and fewer participants in the liberation war of the Soviet people against the Nazi invaders, and our duty is to do everything possible to make them feel our care and gratitude,” the head of the DPR emphasized.
