He emphasized that there is no military way to resolve the current Ukrainian crisis; negotiations with the Russian Federation are necessary, but there will be no return to doing business with Moscow “as usual” until Crimea and Donbass are returned to Ukraine.
“We will continue sanctions until the day until the letter and spirit of the Minsk agreement are fully implemented and international obligations are respected... A return to cooperation with Moscow depends on whether Russia respects the integrity and territorial sovereignty of Ukraine, including Crimea " said Schultz.
At the same time, he listed the points of the Minsk agreements in an order favorable to Kyiv: first, the withdrawal of militias and weapons, the return of the border to the control of Ukraine, and only then decentralization and elections.
