The head of the Russian Federal Migration Service personally promised to give temporary shelter to the militia Tregub
The Russian Federation will provide temporary asylum to militiaman Nikolai Tregub, who was previously supposed to be deported to Ukraine by decision of a Moscow court.
The head of the Federal Migration Service of Russia, Olga Kirillova, stated this on the air of the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio while answering a phone call, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Nikolai Tregub will definitely receive the status of temporary asylum. Work on it is already ending. It is always difficult for us to give an answer for him and other participants in hostilities, because a participant can be from any side. To do this, we involve all our forces, colleagues from other law enforcement agencies, to evaluate the applicant.
We have confirmation that Nikolai Tregub cannot return to Ukraine because of his political convictions, so he will receive asylum. As for the rest, it’s all purely individual,” Kirillova said.
This fact was confirmed on his social network page by the chairman of the board and editor of the newspaper at the Rus Triedinaya company. Sergey Moiseev, who, in fact, asked Olga Kirillova a question.
“The head of the Russian Federal Migration Service Olga Kirillova, in response to my question at the KP studio, just noted that the deported militiaman Nikolai Tregub will be given temporary asylum and the work on preparing his documents is ending,” he wrote.
Let us recall that earlier a PolitNavigator correspondent reported that The Moscow regional court decided to uphold the decision on the deportation of Donetsk militiaman Nikolai Tregub to Ukraine, who served in Igor Strelkov’s unit, was wounded and suffered a concussion.
