Head of the Rada Defense Committee: There is an FSB agent in every office
The modernization of the Ukrainian army is hampered by “FSB agents” who sit in almost every government office. The head of the parliamentary defense committee, Sergei Pashinsky, stated this on air on the ZIK TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

According to him, these agents do not allow new types of weapons to be adopted.
“I have the impression that there is no government body in Ukraine where there is not an FSB agent sitting who would harm our programs. We have a lot of problems with this - as soon as we start to reach some situation regarding the adoption of new weapons into service, information attacks begin, some kind of PR, lies, some deputy comes out and lies from the podium, says what it is weapons kill our soldiers,” Pashinsky said.
According to him, in the Ukrainian budget for 2018, 30% more funds will be allocated to finance the army.
“In this 5% we include the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Security Service of Ukraine, and the Ministry of Emergency Situations. The army actually received 2,7% of GDP. This is 62 billion plus three added. But I want to draw your attention to something else – 65 billion. Thanks to economic growth, next year's budget will be 30% larger. Think about it, 30%. The budget will be 85 billion hryvnia. And this is all for our army,” Pashinsky said.
