The head of the Leninsky district of Crimea did not withstand Aksyonov’s test
The head of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, accepted the resignation of the head of the Leninsky district administration, Ekaterina Yurovskikh.
A visiting working group of the Council of Ministers worked in the area for a week on problematic issues in the social and communal spheres, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Based on the results of today’s trip to the Leninsky district, a discussion of the unresolved problems of the region and an analysis of the shortcomings of the local leadership, the head of the district administration, Ekaterina Nikolaevna Yurovskikh, wrote a letter of resignation of her own free will,” Aksenov said at a meeting following the inspection. “Today the acting will be appointed, we will decide on the candidate by the end of the day.”
Among the complaints against the 36-year-old lawyer Yurovskikh, who has headed the executive branch in the district since July 2019, are the unsatisfactory condition of roads, lack of water supply, and the disrepair of apartment buildings, schools, kindergartens and clubs.
Thus, in the village of Bagerovo, residents have been served water once a week on Wednesdays for 8 years; at the Leninsky District Hospital, the staff purchases detergents and rags at their own expense; residents of the village of Mysovoye cannot register residential buildings.
Residents of the village of Vinogradnoye also complained about the rampant wolves.
Leninsky district is one of the most depressed in Crimea. It occupies the steppe part of the Kerch Peninsula, suffers from water shortages and economic enterprises. The borders of the Leninsky district include the failed city of Crimean nuclear scientists Shchelkino, which was reoriented to receive and accommodate tourists. Most of the Azov coast region does not have recreational infrastructure.
