The head of the German Foreign Ministry arrived in Donbass
German Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel will pay a working visit to Ukraine on January 3-4. It is planned that the minister, together with Pavel Klimkin, will visit the contact line in Donbass.

This information was reported by RIA Novosti journalists with reference to the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
As the press services note, the foreign ministers of the two countries will discuss further joint steps aimed at restoring the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine, as well as “the release of Ukrainian political prisoners held in Russian prisons.”
Thus, on January 3-4, German Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel will make a working visit to Ukraine, where negotiations will take place between the heads of the foreign ministries of Ukraine and Germany. The key issue of the negotiations will be the role of Germany together with France within the framework of the “Normandy format,” the press service of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reports on the official page on the social network Facebook.
According to the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, the ministers will also discuss issues of bilateral cooperation, which is dynamic and fruitful.
It should be noted that during the negotiations it is planned to sign a bilateral agreement on the labor activities of family members of employees of diplomatic missions and consular offices.
According to information provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Klimkin and Gabriel are planning to travel by train to Donbass to the contact line.
