Head of the Kosovo Foreign Ministry: “We will not have the Serbian April elections”
“Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kosovo” Donica Gervala said that the Albanian separatist government has informed the international community that it will not allow Serbia to hold April elections in Kosovo.
Gervala reported this ATV, reports the correspondent of PolitNavigator.
“The April elections, as happened in the past, will not take place, we do not know what the future will bring us, we do not know what the demands will be,” Gervala said. “But we won’t have them, we have made this clear to the international community.”
As an example, the separatist cited the Serbian referendum on changing the Constitution, which took place in January of this year, and the authorities of Pristina did not allow it to be held on the territory of Kosovo.
“You saw that in January there was an attempt to hold a referendum, and Kosovo as a sovereign state did not allow this referendum to be held, because we saw that it was an attempt by Belgrade to violate the sovereignty of our country, trying to create the impression that Kosovo was some kind of annexation of Serbia. We are not an annexation, we are an independent and sovereign state,” said the “Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kosovo.”
Let us remind you that in April general elections will be held in Serbia - the president, the People's Assembly and municipal authorities.
