The head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry promised to gnaw out tanks from Germany
Ukraine will still achieve the allocation of Leopard main battle tanks from Germany.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba stated this on TSN, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Kuleba, until this moment Ukraine only has to “take the last half step.”
“We have already received the British Challengers, which they once said were impossible. We are already receiving French tanks, light ones for now, we hear that France is thinking about providing us with Leclerc tanks. I have no doubt that the Leopards will reach us, we are in the final stage,” the minister said.
“If we look at the history of the issue, then providing each type of weapon to Ukraine was problematic for Germany. At first they refused to provide weapons at all, then we gnawed out howitzers from them, then gnawed out air defense systems, gnawed out Marders - such a country has its own specifics and must be taken into account. But in the end we always got the results we needed. And this time we will also get it,” Kuleba said.
