Kyiv, February 13 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – At the negotiations in Minsk, Petro Poroshenko, as well as the leaders of France and Germany, were several times ready to interrupt communication with Vladimir Putin and leave the Belarusian capital.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavel Klimkin stated this while delivering a report to deputies of the Verkhovna Rada.

According to him, the negotiations “took place in an extremely difficult psychological atmosphere.”

“Several times both we and our friends wanted to stop these negotiations. In the end, there was a general decision to reach agreements, which you all saw,” the official said.

He especially emphasized that during the negotiations Kyiv made neither direct nor indirect contact with the LPR and DPR.

Klimkin predicts that the implementation of the signed documents will be accompanied by excesses. “There will be attempts to move away from implementation, starting from the first point,” the minister said.
