The director of the Kyiv Center for Political Studies and Conflict Studies, Mikhail Pogrebinsky, said this at a press conference in Kiev, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent, noting that he knew Klimkin even before he became Minister of Foreign Affairs.
“Perhaps there is some particularly difficult situation now? He was a completely reasonable, intelligent person,” Pogrebinsky marvels. “But the kind of nonsense he regularly spews cannot even be invented on purpose. This is the apotheosis of today's Ukrainian diplomacy. That's why it's sad. This is despite the fact that I do not consider him a member of a corrupt team. He stands alone, just fit in and is now forced to work according to some strange program that forces a person to say God knows what - completely meaningless things.”
